- Put 1 tablespoon of citric acid in the water tank and add just under 80ml of warm water
- Leave in for 5 minutes, then drain solution from the “Drain Side” of the tank
- Wipe clean with a soft cloth, ensuring to avoid the Ultrasonic Vibration plate area, which can be gently cleaned with a cotton swab
FAQ:
Animal aromatherapy is a whole other world and beyond the scope of what our products are designed for. The short answer is yes, you can safely use essential oils on pets – but only a selected few. It is important to note that no oils should be used on cats because their bodies cannot metabolize the oils and can seriously harm them.
Safety precautions must be taken into consideration, just like with essential oil use on humans. When using essential oils on pets, always dilute, do not apply near the face, and apply only in very low dilutions (i.e., less than 1% because of their strong sense of smell). Do not use on puppies less than 6 months old. Ensure that they do not ingest the oils or solutions.
Some oils that are generally considered safe for pets:
- Citrus: grapefruit, lemon, lime, sweet orange, tangerine
- Floral: chamomile (German/Roman), clary sage, geranium, jasmine, lavender (L. angustifolia), neroli, patchouli, rose, ylang-ylang
- Others: cypress, frankincense, palmarosa, petitgrain
These are some oils that are considered safe to diffuse when safety precautions are followed.
Please note that this is just a general guideline. Those who want to use essential oils on their pet(s) must educate themselves on the risks involved. Just like humans, individual pets can also have different conditions or allergies which need to be explored on an individual basis.
No, ingesting essential oils is not recommended. Incorrect use may lead to organ failure or other complications.
We do not recommend using carrier oils or incorporating them in your essential oil blends when using your diffuser, as it can clog the machine. The only exception is our Uplift and Elevate essential oil gift sets, which has coconut oil but its viscosity is safe is safe for use in our diffuser.

"This diffuser does a good job, and is small. The think I really don't like about it is that there doesn't appear to be a way to turn the LED light off. If I want to run this at night, it lights up the room in a rainbow of colours. If I am wrong about turning it off, I'd love to know and would gladly change this to a 5 star review! But that is definitely a very big down side."

"I'm disappointed that the pictures online do not show what it actually looks like when you turn the diffuser on. I assumed the LED light would be white, but it's actually a loop of different neon colors. For a product that is supposed to make your home more relaxing, it comes off more like a modern day lava lamp instead. Note to way of will: put a video of the diffuser's colors so customers know what they're getting into.
The diffuser does work well, but it makes a slight buzzing noise while it's on. I'm going to keep it, but I wouldn't recommend buying."
