Tell us about yourself!
My name is Stacey D'Angelo and I'm the co-founder and pharmacist here at Wellth Pharmacy & Clinic, and I live in Toronto Ontario!
What is your favorite way to sweat and how did you discover it? My favorite way to sweat is in group fitness classes. I like the energy of being in a group, and get motivation from someone yelling at me!
What was your biggest learning of the past year?
Over the past year I became an entrepreneur and started my own business. What I've really learnt is the importance of self care, so taking time for myself to make sure i'm at my best for work every day.
What keeps you motivated? What or what inspires you? What keeps me motivated is doing something i'm really passionate about and believing in what I'm doing every day. What inspires me the most is also being surrounded by people who are really passionate about what they do and are really positive, and I try to keep those positive people around me.
In what moments of your life do you feel most powerful?
I feel the most powerful when I'm getting things done, achieving things on my list and really moving forward towards my goals
Do you have any advice for our Way of Will Community?
When it comes to working out it's really important to focus on recovery, and making sure your body heals in between workouts. It's important to let your body heal to ensure you're really maximizing your workout every time. I have a couple of tips:
Take a magnesium supplement - Magnesium is responsible for over 300 different enzymatic functions in your body. So magnesium can really help post-workout.
Take collagen - Collagen is a really important building block in our body for our joints & muscles, it's also a great source of protein. It's a tasteless powder that you can throw into your coffee or smoothie, so it's really easy to take.
Sleep!  - Making sure you get at least 7-8 hours of sleep to make sure your body can rest and heal and is ready for your next workout.
