Tell us about you!
My name is Morgan! I am a stay-at-home-mom, former opera singer, small business owner and cake eater. I am passionate about inspiring others to work hard and be their best.
What is your favorite way to sweat and how did you discover it?
My favourite way to sweat is through HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). I discovered it through Kayla Itsines BBG program since HIIT is involved twice a week. Fast, effective, and easy to do with kiddos running around!
What was your biggest learning of 2016?
Courage of conviction. 2016 was of the hardest years of my life. Balancing raising two little boys, born 16 months apart, with my husband working 90 hour work weeks, in a new city, all the while navigating the fun and loneliness that comes with being a mom. So, I decided to stop caring what other people think of me and pursue my dreams, stand up for what I believe in, and see what happens. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am that I did that, it is so freeing!
What keeps you motivated? What inspires you?
My desire to be strong and a good role model for my kids and also knowing how beneficial time alone, working out, is for my mental health! As for inspiration, watching other women balancing the craziness of family, work, fitness, and friends is incredibly inspiring to me!
In what moments in your life do you feel most powerful?
I feel the most powerful after pushing through hard stretches or seasons of life. Overcoming weakness and persevering through difficulty is incredibly empowering, so when the hard times hit I can look myself in the mirror and say “You’ve done this before, you’ve got this.”
